【Main Responsibilities】
Work related to various inspections and quality control in the quality control department of a food manufacturer (40% practical, 60% clerical)
【Job Description】
- Performing product inspections and data entry
- Creation of various labels and confirmation of notation
- Perform routine tests such as pH, Brix, water activity, salinity, and chromatic differences, as well as calibrate instruments
- Daily SSOP and GMP inspections, preparatory work and in-service checks. CCP and PC Verification
- Implementation of quality control checks required for each manufacturing process
- Data registration/correction of raw materials and formulations
- Support for responding to quality checks by government agencies
【Other】 Perform other duties/miscellaneous duties as necessary in accordance with instructions from supervisor
【Eligibility】
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
- Ability to handle inspection equipment properly, and read and record accurate measurements and numerical values
- Ability to value teamwork and communicate effectively both internally and externally, as the work involves collaboration with multiple departments.
【Required Skills】
- Basic knowledge of food safety and quality control operations, ability to read and understand ingredient labels and allergen information
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively
- Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese
- Windows PC、 Microsoft Excel
【Location】 Santa Fe Springs
【Working hours】Mon~Fri,08:30 – 17:30, with overtime
【Reporting to】 QC Supervisor and/or Manager
【Salary】 $19~$25/hr (Nonexempt)Depending on experience, salary negotiable
